This week has really been focused on ‘trying’. I’m so thankful for all the love on my first set of photos from my mini project 🫶 ngl I was VERY nervous to put them out into the world, when you’ve worked so hard on something the fear of failure can be LOUD

But you won’t know unless you try

And I had a very exciting meeting yesterday about another project that I can’t wait to get stuck into ✨

This year is all about refining, stepping out of my comfort zone and trying- again and again

These images were everything I wanted (and more!). I really wanted to get back in a studio space and be creative, it was a little nerve wracking pulling the project together, posting call outs for the creative team, doing all the nitty gritty admin bits and bobs etc… but it was so much fun 🫶

2024 was probably one of the mentally hardest years I’ve lived through.

I had the worst spout of depression I had ever experienced and I couldn’t see a future for myself. I almost packed everything in, but I’m so glad I didn’t.

2025 has been the most incredible year and I am so eternally grateful to everyone who has lived it with me.

At the end of 2024 I decided to put all my energy into my photography and launched Beth Kimber Photography officially as a business, on the side of working full time.

I have met so many lovely people and worked with such inspiring individuals in the past 12 months, run my first Race For Life, had my photos published, visited Japan, captured weddings, maternity photos, anniversaries, events and so much more. I feel blessed to have been included in so many pivotal moments in people’s lives ❤️

Don’t get me wrong, it hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows, there’s been some incredibly tough times this year too and I’m thankful to my friends and family for the support during those times.

2025 really was a year of re-birth and re-awoke my spark for life, and I can’t wait for what’s to come in the future for my business 🫶

Happy early-new year to my friends, family and clients, and to those who come across this reel 🎉🥂

Just take a look at me to put you mind at ease 😅

In all honesty though one thing I have learnt doing shoots on location is that people walking past may look but in reality- they most likely don’t care!

They’re not going to remember what we were doing in a days time or a months time etc etc.

Plus, I’ll coach you through different poses in a relaxed manner and let you take your time to get comfortable. I’ll show you the images as we go and gas you up 🙌
